LISKA YAMADA IS A CLASSICALLY TRAINED HARPIST WITH OVER TWENTY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A PERFORMING ARTIST.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Harp Performance From the University of Arizona and a Master of Music in Harp Performance and Pedagogy from the prestigious Peabody Conservatory.

LISKA IS BEST KNOWn FOR HER WORK WITH THE ACCLAIMED POP ARTIST, MELANIE MARTINEZ.

Liska joined Melanie’s band in 2019 for the K-12 Tour. Liska appears on EPISODE 3 - RECESS WITH MELANIE MARTINEZ, part of the collaborative playlist, EXTRA CREDIT, from Melanie Martinez and YouTube Music.

Most recently, Liska has performed with Grammy Award winning artists Robert Glasper and Steve Lacy. She can also be heard and seen performing her arrangement of “Don’t Fear the Reaper” on the finale episode of the 2023 Peacock Show Mrs. Davis.

In 2014 Liska relocated to Los Angeles where she resides with her orange tabby, Antonio, and enjoys composing and arranging harp pieces in her free time. She performs throughout Southern California for a variety of special events, concerts, and studio recordings.
